Hot off the Easel

Trunks
22" high X 18.5" wide
Gallery Price: $1,500
While vacationing in Oregon last year, these Model A Fords were
parked outside our motel one morning.
They were lined up so nicely!
I couldn't resist taking a bunch of photos
to use as reference for later studio paintings.
According to automotive history, the original car trunks were
simply leather, wicker, or metal trunks that were securely attached
to the back of the car.
Hence the title TRUNKS!

Jewels
of the Desert
13.5" high X 21.5" wide image
Gallery Price: $1,000
My husband and I were camping in southeast Utah last May, when
the cacti were in their glory.
This
cluster was discovered while hiking the rim of
Grand Gulch, near Hall's Crossing on Lake Powell.

new while helping out a worthy cause. Hope you can attend this
great event

in Fort Collins.
Bid on Mr. Tuxx; he'd love to go home with you!

Justin
Update:
My grandson, Justin Batchelder, continues to gain strength
in his upper body & arms after his tragic accident last
March that left him paralyzed from the chest down. His spirit
remains high, he's incredibly determined to maximize his recovery,
and he inspires all of us!
Justin passed his first college class at Metro State with
flying colors; he will take 3 classes spring semester. And
he hopes to have gained enough independence to live in a dorm
next year. What a remarkable young man!
